Greenvale AP presented with prestigious Queens Award for Innovation
April 25, 2006: Greenvale AP, the UK’s largest fresh potato company, are proud to announce today that they have been presented with the Queens award for Innovation, the UK’s most prestigious award for business performance.
Greenvale AP, the UK’s largest fresh potato company, are proud to announce today that they have been presented with the Queens award for Innovation, the UK’s most prestigious award for business performance.
Greenvale AP are widely recognised within the industry as being responsible for a series of technical advancements, many of which have helped to significantly improve the quality of potatoes supplied to the public. In addition they have recently introduced a series of environmentally friendly working techniques, have reduced grower dependency on chemicals, have introduced new and improved potato varieties to the market, developed agronomic techniques to improve grower returns and supported local communities.
Greenvale AP’s Chief Executive Alan Owens will be attending the winner celebration on 24th April at Westminster, hosted by Her Royal Highness, The Princess Royal.
